Knowledge Attitude and Practice of Checking Food Labels Among Pre-Service Teachers of the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria
Abstract
The study investigated knowledge, attitude and practice of checking food labels among pre-service teachers at the University of Ibadan. A descriptive survey design was used with a sample of 150 pre-service teachers. A validated questionnaire was used for data collection. Results showed moderate knowledge, positive attitudes but poor practice of checking food labels. The study recommended food label education integration in teacher training programmes.
