On behalf of the Editorial Board of NigeriaSchool Health Journal, it is a source of joy to me to present this edition to the reading pleasure of all . The journal is part of my academic life,as I have participated in one form or the other for about three decades in various positions in its editorial board. It gives great pleasures that through dedication and sacrifices it has not ceased to appear to the delight of scholars and good private and institutional libraries. This edition contains sixteen articles and they should be delight to all. Some of the highlights of the contents include;addressing contemporary challenges of school health in Nigeria, assessment of knowledge of risk factors and prevention strategies against monkey pox among secondary school students
Others include: socio-economic issues of climate change on health status of schools, the issues relating security challenges and mental health of students ,global phenomenon of health equity and inequity and socio-demographic correlates of psychoactive substance abuse among adolescents, awareness of preventive measures of accident among primary school pupils as well as knowledge, attitude and risk perception as predictors of hepatitis B risk behaviour among undergraduates. As usual, I thank our article contributors as well as scholars who peer reviewed the articles for this edition.I commend this edition,to the reading pleasure of all.
